A few GM's don't want to escalate the stakes. I don't mind b/c it would make it much more interesting and sort of like the real NHL. If you finish last, you are most likely losing money.

i suggest that the top 8 times in the pool make it to the playoff pool, and the winner of the playoff pool is the offical winner. So it forces GMS to draft players that'll play in the playoff, and just winning the regular season isn't enough.

that's actually kinda interesting. sucks for teams that do well because of stars on non playoff teams tho.
