Men's Hockey Canada vs. Germany

If Luongo doesn't post a SO this game, i think that's gotta be troublesome considering the germans were blanked twice by sweden and finland before finally putting up 3 goals against the awesome Belorussians...

Germany may not be as much of a pushover as we may think. Looking back at the games they played, Sweden only beat them 2-0 and that game could have actually gone either way.

Of course Canada is heavily favoured to win, but in the game of hockey and in a 1 game elmination playoff, it anyone's game, as the Swiss proved last Olympics. Canada might beat them 9 times outta 10, but it only that 1 game tonight that counts... so hopefully they will bring it and not underestimate their opponents.

at 8-2, looks like it was a pretty solid game.
That last goal that Germany scored with 2 mins left seemed to be a gift from Canada, or maybe they just didn't really care much anymore at that point. Canada seemed to be fooling around, taking shots from the blueline and kind of like playing keep away.
