I dunno, Kindl's looking pretty good. Let's just hope he doesn't choke out there cuz of his nerves.
Canucks are looking healthy... Luongo's been pretty good since he's been back.

yeah larsson and mccollum look like potentials, but still too young and inexperienced for the nhl--especially in detroit's system.
i keep hearing atlanta being linked as potential trade partners but atl is holding off since lehtonen keeps getting injured.

I wonder if Det would go after Giguere? Or wait for the offseason to try Hiller?
Who are some big name UFA's this year? Ana and Tor will have some decent cap room.

It doesn't matter how much cap room Toronto has.. they will lose regardless.

Detroit has gotten away with playing against the weakest divison in the west in past years. Not so anymore (Chicago is probably the fastest team in the league). Northwest is the weakest now.. and canucks still can't pull together enough wins..
Unfortunately, Detroit doesn't have a lot of tradable assets(they have little depth as it is) to acquire a replacement for Osgood. They will probably have to wait till the offseason.
Kovalchuk is going to sign in the KHL anyways.
I think San Jose may resign Marleau after this year (averages the most ice time of all forwards on the team, his utility on SH/PP and playing C/W will not be easily replaced).
LA will deal Frolov before the deadline, and then you'll see him sign in KHL too.
Russians...
Those are just some of my bold predications.

You know what would make a great line?
Crosby, Stillman and Nash

errr.. stillman? ummm.. suuurrree
i think the Getzlaf Heatley Nash line was the monster line during the past few international competitions...
that being said, i think they're toying with the idea of keeping heatley, marleau, thornton together for the olympics, and having crosby play with possibly iggy and maybe someone else...
