Sounds like the pastor is using the verses to justify his passion for hockey. Did this guy cancel his worship service Sunday?

I can see his point but it's a stretch. I don't think celebrating the creation is the same as celebrating the creator.

huge stretch. but i think he's speaking to the culture of today, which is that religion has been taken over by sports.
anyone else notice the "theological" themes of the past olympics? i believe...lol.

Yeah, sports have definitely taken the place of God. Just because Canada invented the game of hockey due to our God given climate, it doesn't mean we should worship it... and we definitely do. Hockey is our Golden Calf.

yeah, i've seen that hockey lord's prayer around before, but not sure when it was made up.

i wasn't sure if i should laugh or be offended. i laughed.

lol, that hockey prayer is awesome... i haven't seen it before but it's pretty funny.
