Finally found time to watch it last night. I was definitely impressed with the production. It's totally neat to have that kinda access into an nhl locker room and team atmosphere. The pens definitely seem like they live in a more relaxed team atmosphere and more team bonding (albeit probably because they were on the heels of a 12 game win streak) than the caps. The show didn't really show the caps doing much to bond with each other.

Part 2 airs tonight. Already set the PVR to record it. Can't wait.

Oh, and it was friggen hilarious to see boudreau walk into the dressing room in a skin tight shirt showing his huge belly and matching red shorts all the while with his left hand tucked into his shorts as if he was ted bundy.. haha

i think the series is pretty entertaining and make for some good tv... all the better to create interest in the winter classic (which most people don't give a rats about) and on the nhl in general. Hopefully the US market is getting some feeds of this as I think it's pretty good marketing for the NHL.

the protrayal of both teams seem quite edited and focused to draw out the success of one team and the failures of another. plot wise for the show i think it works out great, but i think it is really edited to reflect this.

i'm interested in seeing what tonight's part will look like... i wonder if they captured the caps coming outta the slump and the pens hitting a back to back losing wall...
