The Cape

So i just finished watching the first episode of the cape...

i couldn't take any of it all seriously... i couldn't tell if it was meant as a parody or not... the whole thing just was filled with cheese and corniness..

it's almost like watching power rangers meant for prime time... i found myself chuckling throughout the episode b/c i just couldn't believe the cheeze factor of it...

i still don't know if its meant as a parody. but after the episode i can't bring myself to watching anymore.

haha, i didn't even know it started yet. it didn't look that good in the commercials, but my interest was peaked a little...but now it's squashed lol.

That's too bad... I actually had some high hopes for this show. Who knows? It might get better later though.

Another show that started off really crappy that lasted a lot longer than expected is Human Target. So anything can happen with this show.

i thought the first few episodes of human target were cool man.
but then i stopped watching it.

I watched the first half the pilot and it was pathetic. There was hardly any character development and the shot just tosses you in the middle of a shotty plot line and hopes that you figure everything out on your own. I didn't finish the episode but from what i saw, they didn't even get into the origin of "the cape"... did they finally explain how the heck it's able to have spawn like qualities towards the last half of the episode?

There is no origin for the cape, from my understanding, it's just a cape that was specially design for illusionists/magicians etc..

He basically said to the carnival leader.. "Hey dude can you make me into this comic book hero, in my kids favorite comic book?" And he was like.. "Sure just train with my carnival freaks, and I'll give you random bits of costume i have lying around and you'll become a super hero."
