why does it seem like past xavier isn't in a wheelchair? so far this movie looks like the x-men movie to end all x-men movies. not sure how they're going to follow this one up.

Or it could open up a whole series of new Xmen movies. They're going to the past to reset it. That means, new timeline, which could be just like the Star Trek reboot.

i seen from several sources the most likely follow up to DoFP is going to be some type of apocalypse based arch. like something related to Age of Apocalypse.

it probably seems like he isn't in a wheelchair because he isn't in several scenes. seeing as he's the world's most powerful telepath, he can project whatever image he wants in to the minds of others when they see him. whether he is in a wheel chair or not, perhaps one explanation. but supposedly Xavier being sans wheelchair is supposed to be one of the story points in this movie. so you can watch it in a couple of weeks and find out.

wasn't that the story of that dc game? that the future sucked so much, that they realised that something happened in the past and they had to correct it?

There are some scenes in the trailers where past Xavier's in a wheelchair and Hank is in Beast mode. Check the trailer that Jai posted on page 1 of this thread.

man, i wish i could go out to watch movies still.
