fun facts: Gurney Halleck (played by Patrick Stewart) was a "professor" of sorts to Paul Atreides (played by Kyle MacLachlan), who followed in his mentor's footsteps who both took the mantle of "Captain" (in ST:TNG and How I Met your Mother, respectively).
Leto Atreides II, Paul's son and super-powered being (played by James McAvoy in "Children of Dune"), would also go on to follow the mentor's footsteps by being a "young professor" to mutant kind in Marvel's universe.
A universe that now features (Kyle MacLachlan) as the father of an object of unknown origin (0-8-4).

That last episode... storyline leads up to the Avengers movie. AWESOME! So excited now.
