Playstation Move

You guys heard about this? Looks like the PS3 is looking to move into the Wii market share with the motion capture gaming. Not sure if I'm on board because honestly, the games I play, I prefer a controller than a motion stick. I've tried games like Metroid on the Wii and it just wasn't my cup of tea.

On another note, if this damned thing came out earlier, we wouldn't have had to waste money on a Wii haha...

yeah, i saw this last week. for sure people would prefer the regular controller, as with wii owners (which is why they sell the classic controllers as well...i've been debating getting the classics but i don't play wii enough to justify it), but i guess it gives playstation more options when it comes to creative gaming. i wonder how this controller will size up to the wii remote though, like if it'd be better or what.

This has been out for a long time already.. I think they're looking further into this after the poplularity of the six-axis controllers.
Going fully down this road is a pretty bad move though, I think... they've got troubles getting regular game manufacturers on-board to make games for the PS3, now they're looking into getting more? I think it's a slim chance.

Yea, i think it's a risky move because hard core gamers buy ps3s... I think they'll be in tough trying to reel in the casual party game market with this playstation move. I don't think anyone will go out of their way just to buy the ps3 for the Move games. I think only people who've bought the ps3 as a bluray player and are casually playing games here and there may buy the Move for their family gaming if they don't already have the Wii.

Also, isn't the Wii coming out with a Wii HD soon? once that's out, i bet Move will be an afterthought.

was sony actually thinking that the move will replace their conventional controllers? if so then that'd be retarded. i thought they were just getting a new controller to supplement certain games, you know, like how the power glove did.

haha, you and danny are the only losers with the 360... everyone else is cool with a ps3... except for nathan, he's only got the wii... not sure if that makes him more or less of a loser than you

it makes me a non-loser with a life that doesn't stay at home glued to a little screen hoping for some love and acceptance that i'll never get.
