So i was at a dive resort in Indonesia (best dive resort i've been too, owner owns everything in the area, including building his own airport), met a dude there. Asked him what he did, and he said he was a film maker, so i asked if there were any films I would know of. He said he made all the star trek series and the movies. Rick Breman, look him up.

this thread had me wondering if there'll ever be another star trek tv series and it looks like the producer of Heros Bryan Fuller wants to team up with J.J. Abrams to create a new star trek series. It doesn't seem like it'll happen for at least a few years because they wont start taking it seriously until the star trek sequel movie comes out next year.

Yeah, TV just seems so empty without some sort of Star Trek series.

i don't know if a new series would ever be as good. without gene roddenberry's vision, all the series seemed to suck more and more.
i did like the original idea they had for voyager though, a starfleet black ops type of thing. we'll see i guess.
