yeah so i finally caught up on this show last night at the cost of getting just 3 hours of sleep haha.

i guess they're making a spin off based on that mafia in chicago episode? to be honest, it looks more interesting than the current show.

They tried to make a spin-off, but the network didn't buy it. I actually wasn't fond of that spin-off idea anyway.

The producers said they'll be trying another spin-off idea this season.

i thought they had a few ideas or something, but this "bloodlines" thing was for real. that whole episode was about that, and there was that cliff hanger at the end.
still, it seems much more interesting than the actual show to me.

Yeah, the bloodlines thing was for real, but since the network didn't want to buy it, this pilot episode is as far as it goes.

that wikipedia article was edited recently, when i checked it a few days ago, it said it was going to happen.
either case, i did read others that said it won't, because it didn't make any sense in the supernatural world. like, that black kid only knew about monsters for like 3 hours and all of a sudden he's a hunter? and how bad are the winchesters at their job if they didn't know that all of chicago was overrun by monsters? i thought those were pretty good points haha.

but i saw the finale a couple nights ago. so i guess dean's a demon now.

anyone still watch this?

this season so far had sam in a sling, and the last episode he mentioned a "demon sprain", and i was wondering what the heck that was cause i didn't remember. i thought fiery redhead demon knight did it to him (i seem to remember her beating up on sam for a while), so i watched last season's finale again and sam's arm was fine (fine enough to carry demon brother's dead body back home).

so after some poking around it turns out he and osric (the prophet from AWANA) were goofing around at a convention over the summer and he dislocated his shoulder lol. he has to wear that sling for several weeks, so they just fit it into the show. i thought it was hilarious.
