Hey Joel, you had a chance to play yet? What do you think?

I've tried it once so far. it's pretty good so far. i guess they try to do a bit more story telling in than in the original with all the cut scenes and what not. the game mechanics are relatively similar to the original or at least familiar that it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.

one thing i wished that they had done in the original is to develop some of the characters a bit more, so their are actual persistent characters from the game: like raynor or kerrigan, etc. in the starcraft games, i hope they do this even more in this game, but from what i've seen so far it doesn't seem that likely.

I thought it was a pretty good game. The UI was a bit clunky and hard to get used to, imo, but I guess I figured it out after a while. Played it on 360.

I hate it, though, when games have achievements that you can only get if you purchase the DLCs.

And yes, I realize I'm two years late to the party.
