Sorry, just to clarify, the "All" part refered to the local no name actresses, it did not refer to the "other visiting" actresses. I think that Kristin Kreuk was already "too famous" to do Supernatural by the time that the boys had a following.

yeah so i'm finally on season 8. another brother dies and comes back almost inexplicably. it's like they take turns dying and coming back.
if they bring someone back, can't they bring the dad or bobby back? or how about that hot thief? or the original blonde ruby? seriously.

it's probably another ongoing joke on the show. I bet they have a spin the wheel set up with pictures of them all to see who'll die in the season

well, everyone else that dies stays dead. it's just the brothers that die and come back constantly.

and it seems like they take turns:
older brother gets hit by a car at the end of season 1 and dies in the first ep of season 2.
younger brother dies at the end of season 2 for like an hour or so.
older brother goes to hell at the end of season 3 for a few months.
surprisingly no one of note dies in season 4, but lucifer is out of his cage.
at the end of season 5, younger brother goes to hell with lucifer only for like a few minutes, but his soul is stuck there for a year and a half.
then no one really dies per se in season 6, well, the older brother does for like 3 minutes.
and now at the end of season 7 the older brother got sent to purgatory for a year.

looks like it's 2-4 for deaths. so i have a feeling i know who'll die at the end of this season haha.

the 7th season seems slow though, i just watched ep 13 last night, and only now does it seem that this season has a point. or i guess a "main bad guy" or mission, if you will.

i think the supernatural writers are totally our age, grew up in the 80s/90s, as a lot of the subtle jokes would be lost on those who are just in their 20s or younger.
