wolverine and the x-men

so I started watching this animated series after looking for some new comic related cartoons..

it only went one season (26 episodes) and it seems pretty decent so far. the story centres mostly around wolverine as the title suggests with one major story arc over the season. but it does borrow a lot of elements from the comic, the original animated series and the movies...

it pretty much puts wolverine in the place as the leader of the x-men, which is kind of weird since he's always been the rebellious character in the past. some interesting twists to the x-men canon but also a lot of familiar stuff too.

probably not quite as good as some of the dc animated stuff i have seen recently but probably the best xmen series since the original animated series.

is there only one season of this? or are there more coming?

is was cancelled after the first season due to financing issues, which is too bad... it's actually not too bad.
