i haven't watched it yet. still trying to finish gi joe.

so i finally watched all 9 episodes last night. they were... interesting.
basically they're just origin stories for some of the characters, but they didn't even have liu kang, who i would think would be the most interesting. they have sub zero only to introduce scorpion, but that didn't even really make sense.

i was hoping for more substantial story but instead i got 8-10 minute short stories with like 2 minutes of credits. interesting attempt but needs more in the way of substance. the fighting wasn't bad though.

i'd give the series an a, a, 2, 3 in no limit omaha tournament rules and a table cards of 10, 10, q, 5, 5 and people raising and calling like crazy.

So looked good from the start, but ended up pretty crappy then? Since your a a only made a decent 2 pair, there's no low and a plethora of overhands that could beat your 2 pair?
