Saw it in 3d. The movie was pretty entertaining, but I wish they showed more storyline of Thor's time on earth. It was mostly about stuff that happened in Asgaard, which is the god-realm where he's from. That part made the movie seem more like one of those old greek/roman/viking god movies rather than a superhero comic movie.

Also, I still really don't like how all movies these days seem to be coming out in 3D. To me, it adds a bit of cheesiness to the movie... like, they would add scenes in the movie that are made to showcase the 3D technology, like Thor would throw a hammer towards the screen making it look like the hammer is coming towards you.

they always did that with 3d, or there'd be no point. actually, i still don't see the point.

you should have asked ben to go with you, he's been dying to see this movie. i, on the other hand, could care less.

I watched it with Daffy... I don't think Ben would've been really comfortable being the third wheel. Either that, or he'd be way too comfortable being the third wheel (like as in, sitting in the seat between Daffy and me, and possibly holding my hand).

i finally finished this movie. it took me like 3 days to get through it all. it was that long.

i didn't like it. i read up a bit on thor after (i never read the comic), and i would rate their rendition a "meh" at best.
i didn't like how thor learned this "great lesson" when he just hung out with natalie portman for like 4 hours, most of which she was sleeping, it didn't seem to make any sense.

but did anyone notice who that robin hood guy was? i didn't know until i looked it up on imdb.

He's been in a lot of different movies. He's never really played a huge role though. Wasn't he in The Rock?

jeremy renner? he is a two time academy nominated actor for his roles in the hurt locker and the town.

Oh yeah, he was in the Hurt Locker. I didn't know he was nominated for that role though.
