Looks like the controllers will cost more than the console.

i'm curious as to what kind of games they will offer. i think it'd be weird to have to play on your controller and look at the screen. but i guess you can play poker this way, that would actually be sweet.

I can think of some pretty cool uses for that type of controller... like for RPG games, you can see all your stats and inventory and stuff on the controller screen. For racing games, you can see the map or gauges. For FPS games, there'd be your whole weapons stash, or ammo count, etc.

This is what people imagined the PSP could've done for the PS3. Sony already had it done halfway where you could access the PS3 menu system through the PSP, but they just didn't take it all the way like Nintendo has, but it probably has to do with the PSP's lack of thumb sticks. Maybe the new PS Vita could interface with the PS3.

I think that it's waaay cool for multiplayer games in 4 vs 1 or 6 vs 2 scenarios. Perfect to allow the mob a limited / FOW view on the main screen, and the "rabbit/s" get an unlimited view on the controller screen.

lol... great so each controller will cost like $250... i think it's bad enough current ps3 controllers cost ~50... and a webcam on the controller?? so ppl can look at your chin?? stylus+touch screen, display screen and directional pad and buttons, how many sets of eyes and hands does nintendo think ppl have?

granted the concept can be useful in some cases and nintendo seems to be at the forefront of innovation... which is probably good for the game industry in general... a couple years after this i'm sure microsoft/sony are content to let nintendo test the waters and then release their versions a couple years after.

so there are a few of us who have wiis. Anyone even play their wii anymore? seems like the novelty wore off pretty quick. Alicia and i were contemplating selling our wii last night

i play with my wii every night after winnie goes to sleep. oh wait.

lol, it's true, no one plays wii anymore. truth be told, i don't play any games anymore (except those quick ones on my phone). i was thinking about selling my ps3 AND my wii (although i've always kept all my systems... n64 anyone?)

save $10 and get crappy colours? actually, i think all colours except black are crappy.
but then, i had an incredible hulk controller for my ps2 lol.
