I agree with what he says though, but I blame it on the American audience. Comic hero, apocalypse and romantic comedy movies are the money makers, so that's all they're pumping out these days. There are so few "good" movies that could turn into classics these days.

Plus, all the stars are too busy dancing on tv.
*sigh* ... I hate reality tv.

A lot of good actors are moving towards TV series now too, not just reality shows. There are so many more good quality TV series than movies these days.

I'm hyped about that new show - Terra Nova. Looks pretty good.

hey what the, my post from last night isn't here...

oh well, i was saying that i enjoyed the wil smith movies that the guy said sucked (i robot, i am legend and seven pounds). i don't think he's the greatest actor, but i usually enjoy his movies if not only to see his sense of style.

and shaun's comment reminds me of chris rock on david letterman:
dave: good to see you chris, how have you been? how's your career treating you?
chris: good dave, as long as it keeps me off dancing with the stars, i'm doing alright.

i think there's as much garbage on tv as there is in theatres... my explanation why? b/c the N/A audience are tv/movie garburators. they keep making this stuff people ppl keep paying to watch it...

That's true too.. there's a lot of garbage on TV.
There are also a lot of very good quality shows that got nixed because there just wasn't a big enough audience for it.

like heroes? haha.

heroes failed b/c the latter part of s1 and then most of s2 sucked for the most part. not that it wasn't still better than some shows out there still, but i think the production value of the show required it to more viewed than most...

Yeah, I think Heroes became more popular than they originally imagined it would be, so they weren't prepared for a second season.

no, it was the writer's strike remember? after that they just couldn't recover.
