Maybe music should be added to this sub forum because it's Gen Y leisure as well...
anyways, i'm listening to Adele's album entitled 21. If you don't know who she is, she's the one who sings that song you hear everywhere you go Rolling In the Deep, and her new single out on the radio right now is Someone Like You.
This is a freaking awesome album. Her voice is so soulful, deep and rich. She's the hottest thing in music in UK and she's pretty huge here in the Americas as well.
Check it out if you have the time/resources. She's kinda pop/soul/blues so if you're into that this album wont disappoint. I'd say it's a 10/10... full points because even though i hear her singles on the radio they don't seem to get tiresome. I always find myself listening to the songs each time i hear them unlike other songs that are pretty good the first few times you hear them, then they're pretty annoying after a month. All the songs on her album are like this

I just listened to her album... it's pretty good. I'd say 8/10
If you listen to her lyrics, some of it doesn't really make sense.

i always do. that's what draws the line between a good mc and a crappy mc. listen to the lyrics of eminem, nas, and even kanye west (his older stuff). then listen to lil wayne and 50 cent and see how much crappier they are.

i don't mind a music subforum, but i think we can keep it all in here.
grabbed this in january when it came out and found it to be okay. i don't really care for her sound/style. i know she's pretty popular and really talented, but i could never really get into the album.
was really looking forward to a new amy winehouse album but that aint happening now.
recently picked up a couple tracks from lana del rey who some are saying is like a modern day nancy sinatra. i thought they were great... looking forward to her first album.
if you into indie music, i grabbed the new bombay bicycle club album and thought it's not too shabby. recently grabbed the new wilco, and st. vincent albums but haven't had a chance to listen yet.
for hip hop, i thought the jayz/kanye album watch the throne was pretty good. also grabbed some new big k.r.i.t. and that's been pretty sweet too
i recently been going to prettymuchamazing.com to listen for new music.
if you guys will keep good ratio, i got invites to prob the best private music tracker on the interwebs. currently at about 500,000 albums on there.
but if you guys are leechers and never upload forget it lol.

wow that guy's pretty good. i have a feeling that he's classically trained though. classical guitar is a lot different from the contemporary stuff (esp in worship) that we have now.
when i was in bible college i saw a guy who was as good (if not better) than the guy in the video. the cool thing about the i guy i met was that he would tap the face of the guitar while playing, giving himself a drum beat. it was pretty awesome.
actually, after i watched him, i think i said that i was going to quit guitar too haha.
