Been playing the campaign, it's pretty good. but after playing just two days (and they were short sessions i might add), i'm already half way through the game. I've read reviews that people are complaining about the short campaign. Most people say they can finish it in 6-10 hrs which is pretty sure indeed. Although 90% of the people who buy these FPS games buy it for the online play anyways so meh, i guess campaigns have taken a backseat to online gameplay.
it's kinda neat because like previous battlefield installments, there's more to play than just the FPS view. You get to fly planes, tanks and shoot off the top of Humvees. some of these are available in online play as well.. it's pretty cool...
anyways, it's roughly an A,A,10,10,J on high and 2,3,4,6,8 on low for chicago high-low... pretty good, but not 4 raise 4 raise 4 raise 4 awesome...

actually, how good those hands are heavily dependent on what everyone else has showing... like one person could have all their low or high showing, and have a better hand in either. and then to a smaller extent what you have showing.
the high hand if covered could let you play it as house if the J were covered. you could play the low hand as a ultimate low if you had both the 6 and 8 covered.

you know what? i'm thinking one of these days we should stop playing multiplier poker... always trying to settle who has what makes for error because of that... if you buy in 20, i think you should have $20 in chips, not $100 in chips... we could always just limit the raises to $1 or $2 raises max instead of $4 to limit our craziness... considering most of us rebuy in once or twice or more even, i don't think it's a huge deal... what say you?

if we max out at $1, that means that any other bet will only be like 25 cents. it'll be a LOT harder to play that way me thinks (like, raising a dollar is no big deal but it's also the max bet).

This game is absolutely awesome! Because of it I didn't buy MW3.
They improved a lot of things that the previous BF versions lacked, mostly to do with smooth controls.
If you have a home theatre system or headphones.. TURN IT UP.. they nailed the sound in this game and it sounds like you're part of the action.
I havent touched the single player campaign because BF is all about the online play haha.. plus i heard the single player kinda sucks..
Anyhow, if you're looking for an action packed mind blowing experience I def recommend this.

everyone hates xbox. gtfo.
i remember when we played dollar for dollar we'd just buy in $20 still... and i think jay said something like he never buys in for less than $80 or something... i just remember that one time at dave's when dave walked away with like $200 or something. that was nuts.
