it's like that love actually or something movie. they had a lot of people too. i bet it's going to be a movie like that, how small clusters of people celebrate new year's, and they have nothing to do with each other.

lol pwned. i can't believe it did worse than green lantern, which made something like $4.38 on opening weekend.

maybe because zac efron is in it, more like "zac, what the eff is wrong with you"

I think you gotta be careful reading this though... the article says it was the worst box office weekend in 3 years, but new years eve grossed the most out of all the flicks over the bad weekend... sure it didn't produce a whole lot, but it was the most watched over the weekend... it's not saying that the movie was the worst grossing movie in 3 years, but rather the combination of all movies this weekend was bad...

regardless, i suppose 13 mil in the opening weekend was bad compared to green lantern's 50 something mil... but i think it's tough to release a movie at this time of year.. nobody wants to go watch a movie because everyone's shopping for presents, and when they're done, they're broke so they don't wanna spend money on a movie ticket
