I thought the credits in notebook was funny, with whatever he said about cyclops.

I've never watched The Notebook, but after watching that honest trailer, it really does seem like a generic sappy movie. The premise sounds a lot like The Time Travelers Wife and The Vow (both Rachel McAdams movies). The couple had a great relationship, but something happens and the guy/gal has to earn back her love.

I watched it. I don't really remember it, but I remember liking it.

Actually, The Notebook is right up there for me. It was a well paced movie that did a decent job of translating the book into a cinema format. Much better than Time Traveler's and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than The Vow

yea, notebook is up there in Rachel McAdams movies. But who am i kidding, i'd love anything she's in. Well, maybe not so much that psycho thriller one where she's on a plane and scarecrow is trying to get her do call into her hotel she manages to change things so that they can kill some important person. can't remember what that movie is called but it kinda sucked.
