The current top is 36" x 74" so we keep my Dining table at it's smallest setting 39" x 78.5"
What do you guys think of this???
http://www.straightpokersupplies.com/su ... jumbo.htmlIt's 84" by 42", so I'd have to extend my table to the next setting 39" x 99". That leaves a 1.5" overhang of the felt over each of the sides, but also leaves 7.5" of table at either end. Essentially, we'd be able to sit 4 on each side of the table and 2 at the ends for a total of 10 comfortably
Thoughts? It's just lighter and easier to store than the other top.

definitely takes up a lot less space. i don't think overhang or the extra table length is a big deal.
if the overhang bothers you, looks like you could probably easily trim to size too.

Yeah... we could, and I'll could probably get my Finish Carpenter to make a 6" leaf for the middle so that the length will be exactly right.

so before you replace your old table top, you might as well get as much use out of it while you can...

we hardly get so many people that we don't fit on the current top (and when we do, we hardly have enough chairs), so i don't think size is as much an issue. i'd be more worried about chips falling off the top with no edge to it.
however, it IS pretty dang convenient...
