Going to pick up this game today. Looking forward to it quite a bit! I'll post a review after I play a bit of it.

Yup. I loved turn based strategy games. Jagged Alliance and Panzer General were my favorites. I liked xcom too.

yeah i used to play xcom too. a great game. i was also looking at the new one, but just didn't have time to try it out yet.

so i take it you got a new computer? what did you end up going with?

Apparently it's going to be a fps or something (maybe third person). I'm disappointed. Aren't there enough fps games out there?

I got it for PS3

The game is awesome so far. It's NOT fps, thank goodness! It actually stays pretty true to the original turn based strategy, which is awesome. The only complaint so far is that the game seems to stick to a strict storyline, so missions are pretty linear.

It's not "cool" when you gotta compare yourself to nerds to feel cool. Admit it though, you're a nerd too.. Just not as cool of a nerd like the rest of us!
