Why would he bother taking a bullet for Captain America? CA has like super-regen ability and is almost indestructible.

Oh.. I didn't know the real history of the Cap, but the movie made it seem like he has super regenerative powers. Maybe the "zenith" of human regen ability could considered "super"

kinda like wolverine? maybe they should infuse CA with adamantium too so he can grow claws and have an indestructible skeletal structure as well!

wolverine's healing is almost instantaneous, captain america's isn't. he's just a super soldier, not a super human.
