watched the first half of the premier (which is essentially two episodes, so i watched the first episode), and the biblical inaccuracies were atrocious. i think it's too basic for someone with bible knowledge, and too intense for those with no bible knowledge. it might be good for those who "read the bible" and know their stories, in a way that mel gibson's "the passion" was good for those same people (and at the same time bad for the aforementioned people).
i will continue to watch just to see how it develops and see if it'll be a helpful teaching tool (even if only to teach people how to read their bibles properly without the purpose of entertainment).
