Speaking of Chris Pine...

I saw this on TV the other day and was kinda surprised at how well made the movie was. Chris Pine was surprisingly did a great acting job in it.

I liked the story the most. It wasn't a typical romance story - it was about this guy who's dad died and he later found out he has an estranged half-sister. Without giving away any of the storyline, the movie is about the guy secretly getting to know his sister. His sister doesn't know who he is, and he's unsure whether he wants her in his life.

Worth a watch.

I later found out that the sister is the same actress as the lady who played Effie in Hunger Games.. you totally wouldn't be able to tell.

was it a made for tv movie?

No, it was in theaters. Probably didn't do too well though cuz the actors aren't big name. Well, Michelle Pfifer is in it (she has aged gracefully and embraced her age, I should mention), but she's a has been.

oh, never heard of it.
