i wish they didn't use giant robots though. it's not physically possible for giant robots (or exo-suits or whatever) to fight with any kind of useful speed. they should have just called dr. manhattan. i'm sure he could have taken care of it.

the robots had rocket boosters on their elbows to speed up their punches.

still doesn't make any sense. unless the punch was coming from like a mile away, then maybe they could pick up enough speed to do some damage (to another similarly large object).
or unless those rocket boosters were on at full speed all the time, and the punch was just a release of a "brake" mechanism, rather than a forward thrust, if that makes any sense.

The giant robots is the cool part. It's just a movie. Transformers are giant robots (in disguise) too.

i was actually watching transformers where metroplex and trypticon were fighting and i kept thinking about how ridiculous it was haha.
