So apparently, the sequel won't be about Thanos, as was hinted at the end of the first Avengers movie:

I read somewhere that he'll be the villain of the new Defenders of the Galaxy movie franchise.

i think it's because most people thought he was darkseid and had to look up thanos.

But, Darkseid is DC, isn't he?
If you ever played the Marvel games, Thanos shows up quite often.

Just announced - James Spader has been cast as Ultron.
I'm guessing the voice of Ultron though, because Spader is fat as fu** and won't fit in any type of Ultron suit.

he's not exactly fat as much as he's just fatter than we remember him to be haha.
and there can't be another fantastic four movie cause johnny storm is too busy being captain america. that was one poor casting choice, imho (because of conflict only).

yea, i don't get what's up with all the crossing over with diff characters and the same actor... johnny storm / cap, dare devil / batman, deadpoop / GL, and i guess it's a marvel/dc cross, but there's halle berry as catwoman and storm...

uh, daredevil = marvel and batman = dc
and deadpool = marvel and green lantern = dc
as the same goes for catwoman and storm.
johnny storm and captain america are the only ones (that i know of) that have the same actor in the same universe.

uh, daredevil = sux and batman will sux too
and deadpool = sux and green lantern was okay in my books
as the same goes for catwoman, sux and storm, sux2
johnny storm and captain america were both great.
Also, Justin Timberlake expressed interest in playing the Riddler.

i think avengers is a completely different continuity than all the other marvel stuff (ff,spideys,xmen,others,etc...), despite all being marvel. there's no reference to any other heros, etc.. therefore even though evans plays both j.storm and cap, those aren't in the same "universe" as each other, at least in the movie world.
based on this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ma ... st_membersit looked like since iron man they always had in mind of build up toward the avengers.
