Another new show created by JJ Abrams. It's pretty good, and it's filmed in Vancouver again. It's pretty cool seeing so many of these shows being filmed in Vancouver, and even better that they're getting popular.

It's a buddy cop show set in the future, about 300 years ahead. It's about this cop who lost his leg and his human partner in this attack against some crime syndicate that went wrong. After he recovers from losing his leg (he got a bionic leg now), he gets back on the job. He's assigned this new android partner (buddy cop) which is actually an older model android that has emotions (almost human, get it? hyuk hyuk), as compared to the newer model androids which have no emotion and they're all business.
Now they're both just going about doing futuristic cop stuff and occasionally run into some clues about this evil crime syndicate.

More like just Lore. There are no cyborgs. Just pure androids.

I tried watching a couple of episodes but it didn't strike me as anything special. Maybe I'll give it a chance to pick up some steam and revisit it.

you said the guy has a bionic leg. robocop has a bionic legs, arms, torso and most of his head. same thing.

Yeah, I guess... but it's more like just an advanced prosthetic leg though. It doesn't give him any physiological benefits... nothing like Robocop.

what?
then what's the point of having a bionic leg if it doesn't make you kick harder, run faster or be able to block a barrage of attacks from an enemy robot?

How about helping you to actually walk as opposed to being in a wheelchair for the rest of your life?

a peg could do that. or just a normal prosthetic leg. but a peg is cooler.
