it actually doesn't look too bad, maybe it's the addition of linkin park that did it for me.

yeah, karate is japanese. if you read the article with the trailer, the guy says something like "it should be kung fu kid" haha.
at least the techniques are different from "wax on, wax off". now it's "jacket on, jacket off". lol.
