Yup... saw it yesterday... It was enjoyable.
I actually got more enjoyment reading all the Religion bashing comments about it on IMDB.
It's amazing how some people can totally accept a movie where teenagers fall in love with vampire and werewolf teens, and then turn around and rip apart a movie cuz it doesn't make sense that a blind person can shoot down snipers from 200 feet away.
Even if you personally have no religious leanings..... IT'S A FICTION MOVIE!! If you pay attention to the plot, it makes sense. If you can suspend reality to watch a geeky symbologist professor like Tom Hanks or a joe blow accountant like Will Smith totally evade countless numbers of professional assassins and really bad dudes plotting against them, then why is it so hard to do it for a post apocalyptic movie that 'happens' contain religious leanings with their protagonist?
