Anyone heard of this site?
www.thevancouverpokerclub.comIt seems pretty good, and they're willing to set up private poker tourneys if you want. I think there's a rake on the buy-in and that's it.
I'm asking them for more details, but not sure if this place is legit.
Dunc, you have most experience with this kinda thing... does it look legit to you?

Yeah, that's what I was saying.. we can get them to set up private tourneys for us.
Just waiting on Dunc to help us check if it looks legit.
Hey Dunc, do you want to play poker or what?

i haven't had time to check it out at home.. not sure if i want to be caught looking at poker sites at work haha...
besides, it'd be hard to tell if it's legit or not just by looking at it. It really depends on how credible their accounts are with whatever corporation they use for the transferring of funds. Their site could look totally awesome or totally crappy and it could mean jack...
That being said, why don't we just set up our own poker tourney irl? if we can all get together online, why not get together irl? if you're thinking that the ones with kids/wives/dogs/pron will be able to play hands in between gaps in their responsibilities, then you're looking to host a REALLY long tourney. People will be afk so often!

Yeah, basically that's what I wanted you to check out.. the online banking companies that they use for this site. I've never heard of any of them, but I thought you might have seen them or heard of them when you were at that other online poker company.
Since you can't look at the site from work.. here's what they list as the banking brokers they use:
Neteller
Entropay
WebMoney
Clickandbuy
moneybookers
BankWire
UseMyBank
Click2Pay
myCitadel
EchoCard
SafeCharge
I don't know why they need so many, but... recognize any of these?
