ipod woes

ok, this is starting to really annoy me.
a few days before vegas, i sync'ed my 5th gen nano to my pc itunes with some 13gb's of music. in vegas i noticed that some songs were starting 10-80 seconds into the song, skipping a bunch of the beginning stuff. i paid no attention as i didn't listen to it much and it's never happened before (bought the nano in october). when i got home, it got worse. it kept jumping ahead a minute to a minute 30 into the song.

i take it to the apple store. no questions asked they give me a new (refurb) one. i go home and sync it again. same freaking thing happened.

i figure since it only happened after i sync (i did manual transfer before) it probably has something to do with that. so i wipe the ipod and manually transfer my music. worked great for a whole 2 days and it started skipping music again.

what. the. hellz.

this happen to anyone before? any ideas on fix? i searched online for a about 10 minutes and found nothing. maybe i should just go back to the apple store and get another new used one?

wipe it and let me sync on mine to test.... might be your itunes.

yeah, i thought of that. i updated it, but i didn't uninstall and do a clean install (not sure if i'd lose all my playlists if i do that). i guess i could just wipe it and sync to winnie's crappy ass music and see if that works.
