neverplayed the originals... but a coworker told me he picked up the latest one recently and said it is really good...

is this a game or a movie?
i thought the latest one (at least for ps3) was just a remake of an older one?

i heard the lastest was is a 3rd person action type game... dunno if it's a remake or not.. never played any of the series.

hm, maybe i'm wrong. or maybe i'm thinking of a different game.

the originals didn't have much continuity in them anyway. there was always someone from the belmont family trying to kill off dracula or someone like dracula, but you never knew where in the timeline any of them fit. the nes ones were the best though.

I was really disappointed with the new Castlevanias that came out for the DS... but then again, those were just the DS versions. DS versions of any full game sucks.

one of the ds ones was pretty good, every other one in general after nes sucked though.
