I think this show is a mini-series.
Seems pretty good so far. It wants to be a sort of Xfiles alien conspiracy meets 2012 disaster type of show, but with it's limited TV show budget, it ends up lacking in both departments. The super secret "event" they talk about isn't kept much of a secret after they leaked it out after the first episode.

what the super secret "event"? I have been watching since the beginning not sure what it is...

my theory is that they are not aliens, but they are actually time travellers from the future come back in time to "alter" or change some point in time to them that is known as "the event", perhaps even to the benefit of Earth. And the difference in DNA between them and the humans are due to genetic manipulation of their genome to give them longer lives and perhaps other unrevealed abilities.

Well, the whole story line hasn't been revealed, but the event was what happened 66 years ago wasn't it?

After watching last night's episode, I came up with that theory too where they are from the future.

Oh and I had thought the event was coming up all this time... i guess i need to watch more carefully.

didn't catch yesterday's episode yet, too busy watching chuck/dexter.

I dunno, I could be mistaken as well.

Still don't know what ulterior motives these aliens have though.

Missed Chuck last night, but Dexter was awesome.

winnie was pvr'ing it, not sure if she's following it though.

last week when i finally had time to sit down to watch some tv, i asked her what she wanted to watch and she said 90210. so i guess the event isn't that good.

I still have the whole last season of 24 to catch up... man, that's a lot of TV.

i thought the last season of 24 was good. then it got bad. then it got typical. then it got good. then it got boring. then it got wtf? then it ended.

The Event got cancelled for this season... I didn't even realize until this week.
