anyone get it yet?
i hear it's pretty good with similar game play to nfs undercover (as in free for all world driving as opposed to set tracks and events).

I was thinking of getting this too... but all the hype right now is on GT5.
I like NFS Undercover's free world driving style too. It's more carefree.

never got into the gt series. i think it's just all that track racing that i don't like. i'd rather drive over obstacles and people.

they should allow you to upgrade your cars with weapons.

this is need for speed, not grand theft auto.

I just got it, woot... can't wait to play it tonight.

i played it for the first time yesterday. graphics are pretty sweet and the driving isn't bad (although i noticed that i could just floor it without consequence in many instances). i haven't played with the settings too much so i just drove in AT. only three driving views, bird's, windshield (not cockpit like the last nfs) and front bumper. i kinda miss the cockpit view.

and so far the only free world driving is as a cop. and as a cop it was pretty boring, although i only tried it for about 4 minutes before ryan woke up and ran into my crotch.

since both of you and g have it you can play online together.

Is there 3 way action? Maybe you should get it too!

yeah, you can race each other, check out each other's stats, complete tasks together, and do a bunch of other stuff, i forget what.

did you guys race each other or play online together yet?

my online play over psn was limited to nhl10 with tys once over a year ago... and it was a super lag fest. i am curious to how good psn is nowadays.

i don't even have my ps3 hooked into my network yet lol.

really, i thought some games don't even let you play unless you login or update.

it made a big deal about me not being connected, and after my system yelled at me for a while they gave me a "play anyway" button.
