lol.. i answered my own question in my threadjacking...

actually, i kinda doubt that there'll be a new series, or at least one in the true form of star trek.
why? because enterprise sucked haha.

I haven't heard any news about any Star Trek series coming out...
Enterprise and Voyager both bombed pretty bad, so I don't think they'll come out with anything else.

Enterprise was pretty good though, so it was kind of too bad.

I liked the idea I heard about a possible other Star Trek series which is something like a Black Ops type of show where they go on secret undercover missions.

that idea was before voyager though. they needed an idea and that was one of them.
i think another one was the original crew in the academy or something, but that was shot down pretty quick from what i heard.

i thought enterprise was ok. there were a couple of interesting side stories in the last season including covering eugenics, arik soong the ancestor of noonian soong, and the disappearance of klingon ridges and section 31

I don't think that's the type of Star Trek show we were looking for... but looks hilarious, haha.
