So one of the headlights burned out on the jetta. I need to buy a replacement. Probably gonna go with Philips Xtreme Power bulbs again but I can't remember where I bought them from. Where do you guys buy your bulbs?

online.
if you want really nice halogen ones, i hear silverstar zxe's are really good. however i think you can only get them on amazon.

i used to use powerbulbs.com or something like that. reasonably priced and cheap (or maybe free) shipping. but they no longer had my size for a while, so i stopped.

lol you're still looking?
just grab a cheap set from canadian tire then (or did you already?) while you search. i think powerbulbs has different sizes for different brands. because they don't have your size for one particular bulb doesn't mean they don't for all bulbs.

did you have time to find a spare 9007 bulb? if not it's ok... i might just go to canadiantire like you suggested.

haha, i forgot to tell you, i checked on saturday and i don't. and i checked and apparently i never even needed that size. sorry man.
another site that lots of vw guys seem to use is candlepower.com. their prices seem a bit less than powerbulbs, but i don't know about shipping and stuff.
and forget about the zxe's that i suggested earlier, as i did some more reading, it was more about colour than light output. personally, i'd rather have better light output than a nice colour. just be sure you're at max 55w.

hm, shipping is free to canada if i order $40 or more. My bulbs are $31 which are pretty cheap. Anyone want anything from the site? I can order it for you to combine for free shipping

are you talking candlepower.com?
if so, i guess i wouldn't mind a philips xtreme power in h7. the site says it's on sale for 31 bucks a pair.
if those are the ones you're going for (same price as you listed), note that they're rated for like 150 hours or something (maybe a year/year and a half of use, less if you have drl's enabled... i can disable them for you).
rule of thumb: if they're brighter, they don't last as long.
inb4 that's what she said.
