so...i guess they actually passed that "no using handheld devices while driving law". any good bluetooth units out there for a relatively reasonable price? the mazda already has a hands-free feature in it so i'll just use that, so it'll just be for when i'm in the golf driving to and from work (not long trips).
i remember hearing that jabra makes some good products. what else?

for speed dial, how about we just attach a string to your ear...while Nat speeds off in the VW.

Doesn't G have an older jabbra one now that he's upgraded to a Jawbone

way to dig up old threads.. haha...
i just recently bought the jawbone prime as well. i like it better than the plantronics discovery 640 i had before. The only thing i don't like is that turning the thing on, your thumb usually covers the light indicator so you don't know if you're holding it too long and turning on sync mode or not long enough so that it doesn't turn on. Oh, that and you have to cycle through the volume levels instead of being able to go up/down...
other than that, it's pretty nice... more comfy than my old plantronics and seems to have better sound quality as well.

haha, gordon gave me his old jabra already (i just realised i missed a copping opportunity...a cop op lol...up there).
it's pretty comfy for my size ear, and the little hook makes it pretty snug (so it won't fall off). i had one of those really old motorola ones (when moto was cool) and it sucked beyond suck.
i was talking to winnie using the jabra yesterday and she said she couldn't even tell that i was on a bluetooth. and to be honest i couldn't either.

It wasn't old.. it was brand new. Brand new in box until Joe opened it up out of curiosity, haha.
Glad you like it. You're having a better time using it than I did.. I didn't like it too much, but only because it didn't fit in my ear too well.

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO CLEAN THOSE THINGS?!?!?
IS THAT WHY MY EAR LOOKS LIKE CAULIFLOWER RIGHT NOW????
