shaw just offered me free cable for 6 months.

unfortunately i don't own a digital cable box. anyone have a spare one lying around they don't need or use. I can return it after 6 months.

yea you have to get the box registered. Can't just plug and play... You can borrow mine for 6 months if you want.

from what i hear you just need to call in the box's serial number or something. not a big deal.

yea, my pvr is an hd pvr but it should work for you even if you're only getting sd... you're welcome to borrow it if you want...
