Looks like after 6 years my colour laser printer just died.

Looking for something decent that doesn't brake the bank. I don't need an enterprise printer. Just good print quality and cheap toners. Network option is handy, but i can always share through the server if there isn't. Saw the reviews on the Lexmark and they all say it's crap. Don't know if i want to get another Dell. Don't need a multifunction as i already have one of those.

Any suggestions? No more than 500 bux.

winnie and i got a canon mp something or other a few years ago. it has the best photo quality printing i've seen (london drugs printing couldn't hold a match against it) and it can network and stuff like that too.

we got it on sale for $99. best purchase ever.

BTW, if you're not using the pp-201 canon paper, it will fade or scratch off after about 5 years.

That being said, I like printing my own pictures too as I have MUCH more control over colour, contrasts, temperature, etc... over the clowns at Costco. LD is just toooooo expensive to justify... and their techs don't do a good job with colout integrity either.

yeah, ours is an inkjet.

and ld was actually the cheapest for the amount we were getting. i think it's 35 cents per and 18 for every reprint after that. everywhere else was like 20 cents per.

sorry to threadjack but what's a good picture printer out there? how much does it cost per print if you print at home? i'm only asking because alicia likes to blow a ton on pictures every year so i figure might as well find a printer to buy instead of paying costco 15 cents a print...

Inkjet is way too slow for the office, and the yield is way too low, don't feel like changing cartridges every other week.

The new Dell 2130 comes with crap. My old Dell 3130 at least had two trays, which helps with differnent types of paper.

The Samsung CLP-620ND seems like a deal with a duplexer and 2 trays. Just don't know about the print quality.

I believe it's a pricing error, but i managed to get an order through plus a $20 off coupon. Tonor costs more than the printer.

toner is always more expensive man. that's just life.

It says out of stock on the website. You must have bought the last one.

It's a discontinued model. Ingram was selling it for $349, but maybe they're selling for $99 as a clearance price.
