private scans go from about 700-800$. definetly worth it if you are waiting for one. I think i lucked out with mine which took about 5months. but i heard most wait times are up to a year if it's not possibly life threatening.

of course once you get scanned you'll still need to wait for a surgeon to operate if you need it.

i never got to keep any of my mri scans/report, maybe if it's private you'll get a copy of the scan and the report... i did get a copy of my arthroscopic pics though.
