You'd be surprised man. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Probably because the route is so well supported with rest stops, food, port-o-potties, and pretty much everything along the way. That is unless you decide to go nuts and make the trip in one giant segment. Shaun wasn't the only one apparently. LOL. Weather and T-Boneing a car aside, it really was great. The first day was miserable and I felt like crap after all the rain, the bruised shoulder, and the busted ribs. Surprisingly, the second day went by super quickly except for that hail storm during our two biggest climbs. It definitely helped the ribcage with all the smoother pavement. I felt great afterwards on Sunday and probably could have ridden more.
Flying for the second time this year with a rib / chest contusion on Monday though...... that hurt like a B*
