5x hill repeats for any of those interested today in joining...

For those of you who don't know what hill repeats are, we run along southpoint drive. Starting just a little past marine dr up to the intersection bryrnepark dr. The hill is maybe about 400meters and it's not that steep. We run up, and then walk/jog slowly back down, then repeat.

We meet up at runningroom (Market Crossing / Big Bend) at 630p.

Dress warmly as it's getting a bit more chilly out there. Hope to see you out there.

I would like to get started with some running again this week, (thurs and fri look like the best bets weather wise). I will probably start out short and slow. maybe a short 1-3k. let me know if anyone's interested in joining me.

probably right after work if possible. sun still sets pretty early. 5:30-6ish? probably just run for 15-20 minutes to start out. on thurs, i get home around 330p, so i can start out even earlier, but i'll probably wait around for joyce to get home. i don't mind running later in the evening too, just need to find a well lit area.

may go out on the weekend too if the weather holds up.

fwiw, here's a 3.5 km circuit that I like to run. Nice and flat with only one light that is usually green and you can usually jay-walk across even if it was red.

Certainly better lit than running through Central Park.

If you want something a little longer, here's my 11.17 km route that I like. Pretty flat, but the lights @ Boundary can be a real drag:

whoa, that second route isn't a little longer, it's more than 3 times as long lol.

Oh, I guess. I suppose the reason I said it was only a little longer was 'cause I usually do the first one twice so it comes out to 7 kms. 11 is only a little more than 7.

i've started up running again, so far only a few short runs. if any of you want a running buddy and are just starting out and want to take it easy let me know. if i am available i would be more than happy to go running with you. I'll try to drag along the wife too . i am open to going any day of the week outside of standard working hours (9-5)
