diet is progressing on track, but Reagan is really owning me on the amout of time that I'm getting to work out. Hoping to get a better few weeks in for the holidays and build from there. Work's just too busy and same with house work... I'm behind, but nothing I can't make up for going into the last half of Dec.

Blew out my good knee last night in the second period.... going to see the doctor today

It's overcast, but I can at least see where the sun would be. It's pretty mild at my parents cabin with only a light dusting of fresh snow on the roads. It's typically only a couple of degrees cooler here than it is in Vancouver. Apparently Cranbrook, on the other hand, was -15C when the plane landed.

Torn Meniscus... physio and rehab until end of Jan... if no improvement, then we'll discuss surgery.

ouch, how big is the tear? if its a small tear in a less stressed place, it wont be so bad. If its a pretty big flap thats torn then that sucks.

On the bright side, I have a friend who just got out of surgery for his torn meniscus and the recovery time is quick. Hes pretty much back to biking and skiing a few weeks after.

We think it's a smaller one but won't know unless we MRI it. From a pain level and 'range of motion' stand point, we decided that it's probably not a major tear, so we'll go with physio first.

d'oh, that sucks... just when you started looking like you were getting your hockey legs back from your fractured foot... yeesh, with these injuries piling up (along with your back), we might as well call you the autobots' salo!

Hmmm... I think I aggravated it last night again moving the TV around. Dang it.

AAAlllrighty then. Hockey starts in a month so I'm starting my purge and cardio this monday. Back seems to finally be 90+% and my knee's aren't gonna get any better so might as well stop waiting.... hope to get to under 200 by the time the puck drops for the first game.
