awesome to hear that your new routine has had a positive affect on your game. Keep it up!
Good cardio is a great thing when it comes to playing hockey i find. Not only are you able to skate longer and faster, but I always find the hugest thing is the reduced mental fatigue. When my brain is getting ample oxygen and my heart is not overworked, I always find i see the ice better, and the play actually slows down to the point I can think about what I do rather than rely more on instinctive reactions. man i wish i could play again...
