My goal is to get a surgically repaired shoulder by the end of 2011. From what I hear, its about a 6 month wait for an MRI then another 6 months to a year wait for surgery.

Adding a new goal, wanting to get to 68kg, 149 lbs sometime in February. Hopefully be at 10-11% bodyfat. Gonna see if competing in judo at 66kg is a possibility.

So your goal is going to the doctor's office?
MRI wait is probably longer than 6 months currently, but it will depend on how urgent your request is. But for a non-emergent request it's likely somewhere between 8-12 months more likely.

I made a phone call and damnit, i think the office is closed.. called in 5 times and couldnt get through.

My DAD got an MRI recently. He met with the Doctor's in March he told me. He received his MRI just recently. But it will vary from hospital to hospital.

anyway, joel's right. mri's take for-freaking-ever. however, if you plan a trip to hk sometime soon i could hook you up there.
and i wouldn't make it sound worse than it seems. the system is put in place for a reason and those who are waiting are waiting for a reason, don't bump someone's turn because of your whine. get in line with the rest of cattle man.

having said that, is surgery a realistic goal for this game?

There are private MRI clinics with no wait time, in 2002 it was $400, don't know what it is now.

Last I checked it was about 600-800 a pop.

I got a quote of $800 for my knee last month.

U can get one in china for about $400 RMB.

I'm at about 154 lbs, not sure on body fat %
