so joyce and I tried this place after service yesterday. they have some pretty decent laksa and quite a variety of different soup bases. prices are very good in comparison to other malay joints where laksa will cost 10-12 bucks for a bowl. they range from 7-8$ here which is about the going prices for pho at some places.
my only complaint is the noodle they used. it's ok, but not what i'm used to for laksa, they have a couple of options so maybe next time i'll try something one of the other options.
also the restaurant's specialty is hainanese chicken. i'm not a fan of hainanese chicken in general, so i can't comment much on theirs.
btw they used to have a different menu that had more of the tradition malay items, but seemed to have switched over more recently to specialize in laksa. they don't have items like mee /nasi goreng, or sambal green beans, etc...
they do still have appies like satay, and roti tho' and just curry and rice.
anyways if you are looking for inexpensive laksa, i recommend it.
