so my mother in law told me about a hotel on denman that has all you can eat prime rib on fridays and saturdays for 30 bucks. who's in?

Does it come with all you can eat buttered toast?

Thinking about it... $30 worth of prime rib at the Keg is already more than I can eat. I don't think I can do an all you can eat prime rib. I think that's what this hotel is betting on too.

$30 at the keg is just 8oz i think with sides. that's not that big. you probably could have at least another 4oz's after that. however, i don't know how the sides work at this place.

can't eat as much as i used to anymore... i'd sooner spend $30 on something else...

just one prime rib at the keg is already $30. you're actually not paying more for all you can eat if you think about it.

Yeah, but when you see "all you can eat", that usually also means poorer quality. I'd rather spend $30 on better quality limited quantity rather than less quality and more quantity that I can't take advantage of..

I'm actually not a big fan of all you can eat of anything.

all you can eat only made sense from when you're a teenager til you're 25 or so

haha... if i'm to spend $30 on a dish, i'd sooner go to the keg or some other place to get good quality... i can't eat more than 1 steak with sides anyways...

it turns out that we're going to this place this weekend because of a special deal or something. kitty is pretty keen on it, even though she can barely finish a bowl of rice. she said they're having a 40% off deal or something, meaning it's all you can eat prime rib for like $20. apparently the reviews are pretty good too.

cool.. since you're going anyways, you can let us know how it goes...

and cockney kings actually is pretty good... just the all you can eat is gross lol... but like gordon said, pretty much most all you can eat stuff sucks or isn't worth it

yeah, i meant the all you can eat was pretty gross. i haven't tried their regular menu stuff.

so how about we set a target # of prime ribs you should eat when you go... i say you should at least eat 5... then you can say each was $6, and that's pretty worth it..

oh, and you should ask for extra fat chunks cuz we all know how much you love to eat those...
